The term ‘Hilary Gleaves Jewellery or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website. You can contact us by emailing hgleavesjewellery@gmail.com The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. We provide services subject to notices, terms and conditions as set out below, which are based upon current main online shopping regulations. By accessing, browsing or shopping on this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern Hilary Gleaves Jewellery’s relationship with you in relation to this website. Please read them carefully.

Product Descriptions

We endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our photographs, Jewellery descriptions, and photographs of our Jewellery in different settings. Please note that although we have endeavoured to fully represent our Jewellery in photographs there may be some variations in colour due to lighting conditions. In addition, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s or phone accurately reflects the colour of the products shown.

Ordering

Our Jewellery is designed and made in our workshop using traditional, handcrafted techniques and is subject to availability. Availability information for products is listed on each individual product description. We will endeavour to inform customers of any items that become unavailable as soon as possible.

If you are interested in purchasing an item of Jewellery that is not currently in-stock the estimated production time for the piece is shown in the Additional Information section of the product listing. We will agree a timescale by email after you have placed the order.

All prices listed on Hilary Gleaves Jewellery are correct at the time of entering the information; however, we reserve the right to change the price of products at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders placed before the changes were made.

When placing an order you agree that any and all information given by you is accurate and complete.

No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Hilary Gleaves Jewellery until we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. We will confirm order acceptance by sending you a confirmation email. The email will be sent to the email address given in your order form and will detail the product ordered, payment method, cost (including P&P) and estimated delivery times. You must check all the details on the confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible at hgleavesjewellery@gmail.com if any details are incorrect.

If your order has not been accepted for any reason, you will receive an email from us telling you the reasons why.

Delivery and Time Frames

If you purchase an item from our online shop which is currently showing as in stock, we will endeavour to despatch it to you within two to three working days of receiving your order. If an item is out of stock it will take between 2 - 3 weeks to re-stock.

The price shown for the goods includes postage unless specifically stated. Orders in the UK are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1 pm next day delivery, this is a signed-for service. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order.

Once your package has been posted by us it is the responsibility of Royal Mail. You will receive a tracking number so you can track your package. You will need to take up any issues with Royal Mail using the tracking number given. The delivery period stated may vary in the event of some factors beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy and Returns

We hope that you will be pleased with your Jewellery item(s) If you are not satisfied, you have a right to return the un-worn Jewellery item(s) to us in new condition within 14 days of you receiving the goods. To receive a full refund for unworn and undamaged product(s), return it/them with its/their included accessories and packaging along with the original receipt within 14 days of the date you receive the product and we will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method. In addition, please note the following: (i) products can only be returned in the country in which they were originally purchased; and (ii) for reasons of hygiene earrings are not eligible for return unless faulty.

We do not accept returns or exchanges after 30 days.

Exempt from any refund are bespoke commissions, made to order items or Jewellery altered to a customer request.

Please send an e-mail to us at hgleavesjewellery@gmail.com before you return any jewellery item(s), informing us that you are returning the jewellery and why and we will confirm the postal address for return of the product. The cost of returning your order and the responsibility for the item(s) is your own until it reaches us.

We apply strict quality control and carefully check our Jewellery item(s) before it/they are sent out to customers to make sure it/they are perfect. However, if you consider that your item(s) arrives to you in any way defective, please contact us at hgleavesjewellery@gmail.com with details of the defect to arrange the return of the item and arrange either a repair, replacement product or a full refund. Refunds are at the discretion of Hilary Gleaves Jewellery. When returning item(s) we ask that you use a trackable and insured postal service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1 pm next day and insured to the cost of the item(s) purchased in your order.

We are not liable for normal wear-and-tear to the item(s) whilst in the use for which they are intended.

None of the above affects your statutory consumer rights

Payment Terms

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We accept online payments from credit and debit cards and PayPal. We reserve the right to amend prices as previously stated. The total cost of your order is the price of the products and packaging plus delivery charges. The displayed price on the order confirmation is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.

We will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay, if applicable.
